There’s no body type that is better than anyone else. Anything you are, perfectly suits you. This is your body. Yoga can benefit individuals of all different ages, genders, shapes, sizes, and ability levels because it’s not just a physical practice. When you quiet the mind, you can more deeply understand and appreciate the body, disengaging you from judging your body and allowing to just experience it. As part of a body-affirming practice, we are working on rising acceptance of diversity in yoga studios, making the space also safe for queer and trans* people.
